SUSAN C. WELTON

Susan C. Welton was born in Fredericton NB in 1968. She is married to Shawn Welton, they have a son Blair. Susan resided in Chipman with her aunt and uncle from the age of 16, where she attended Chipman Regional High School and graduated in 1987. She was active in the operation of the funeral home from the age of 16. She received her Embalmers Diploma from the New Brunswick Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association in 1990. In July of 2009 Susan and Shawn purchased the Funeral Home from Bob and Sharon Lockwood. Prior to 2009 she worked in Calgary, Alberta and in Trail, British Columbia where she worked for one of the largest Funeral home and Crematorium providers in North America. Susan is very excited and is honoured to serve the families of Chipman, Minto and Grand Lake areas. Susan is a board member of the New Brunswick Funeral Directors and Embalmer’s Association.

ROBERT LOCKWOOD

Robert Lockwood was born in Woodstock, New Brunswick in 1944.  He married Sharon Lockwood in 1968 and they have raised two daughters, Sarah Ruth Lockwood and Abigail Dawn Zoe Lockwood. Robert graduated from Humber College, Toronto, Ontario in 1982.  He and Sharon purchased the funeral business in 1982 and have owned and operated Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. since then.  Robert’s wife, Sharon, received her Embalmers Diploma from the New Brunswick Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association in 1988 and has been actively involved in the operation of the funeral home with her husband since that date. Robert is an active member of the Community serving on the Board of Chipman Community Care.  He previously served as a Village Councilor for six years and is a Past President of the New Brunswick Funeral Directors Association.

SHARON LOCKWOOD

Sharon Lockwood was born in Mill Cove, Queens County, New Brunswick in 1946. She married Robert Lockwood in 1968 and they have raised two daughters, Sarah Ruth Lockwood and Abigail Dawn Zoe Lockwood. Sharon received her Embalmers Diploma from the New Brunswick Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association in 1988 and has been actively involved in the operation of Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. with her husband, Robert since that date. Sharon also has her Bachelor of Law Degree which she received from the University of New Brunswick in 1982 and is a sole practitioner in the general practice of law, serving the Chipman and surrounding areas from 1983.

JEANNIE MAY-GALLANT

Jeannie May-Gallant was born in Saint John, New Brunswick in 1964. She is married to Noel Gallant and has two children, Emma and Brett. The family resides in Chipman, New Brunswick. Jeannie received her Embalmers Diploma from the New Brunswick Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association in 1994 and has been involved, on a part-time basis, in the operation of Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. with her foster aunt and uncle, Robert and Sharon Lockwood since that date. Jeannie is a registered nurse and works part-time with the Extra-Mural program, recently she has graduated from UNB with her Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 2008.

ERIKA J. WELTON

Erika J. Welton is attending NSCC studying the Funeral Director’s Program in Kentville NS.  Erika graduated from Petticodiac Regional High School in 2010.
