GARNETT FREDERICK DAYE passed away suddenly, but peacefully in his sleep at his home on Monday, September 20th, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Garnett will always be loved and remembered by his loving wife of 61 years, Mildred; his daughter, Beverly (Bob) MacKenzie of Lower Coverdale; son-in-law Jerry (Karen) Joudrey of Chipman; by his brothers, Clayton (Jeanetta) Daye of Quispamsis and Roly (Marjorie) Daye of Rothesay ; by sisters in law, Evelyn Day and Beth (Ernie) Busson; also survived by Keith and Michelle Day; by his grandchildren, Susan, Charles, Lisa, Garnett, Kenneth, Barbara, Sherry, Crystal and Nicholas; by 16 great grandchildren and one great great- granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.
Garnett was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Pauline (Granville) Daye; by two daughters Cheryl Dawn and Sherry Lee; by his infant brother Ralph. Garnett has always been very active in his community, his passing will not only be a great loss to his family and friends but also to his church and community.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home until Friday, September 24th, 2010 when funeral service will be held at the Second Chipman United Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Egers officiating. DICKIE, DAVID CRUICKSHANK – At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, on Sunday, February 20th, 2005 DAVID CRUICKSHANK DICKIE died peacefully at the age of 78 years; Survived by wife Helena (Knox) Dickie of Upper Salmon Creek; by sons Sheldon (Judy) of Trenton, N.S., Allan (Wendy) of Quispamsis and Dwight (Cindy) of Crossfield, Alberta; by daughter Shawnna and fiance Ray of Saint John; by brother Hugh of Hamilton, Ontario; and by grandchildren Mark, Denise, Sean, Joy, Ryan, Noel and Elizabeth. He was born in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, the son of the late Thomas and Rachel (Graham) Dickie. He was also predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. At the Oromocto Public Hospital, on July 16th, 2009 JOHN HERBERT DOHANEY passed on at 86 years of age. Survived by wife, Miriam (Russell), of Chipman; by sons Allen (Theresa) of Rothesay; Michael (Barbara) of Arizona; by daughter Kathy Caron (Terry Keough) of Grand-Barachois; by grandchildren, Patrick, Timothy, Ross, Jacqueline, John, Stephanie, Jason, Michelle, Nicola, Kate, Jeff Caron and Jamie Caron; by sister, Sister Margaret Dohaney (Sisters of Charity) in Saint John. Predeceased by parents William and Susana (Monahan) Dohaney, by brothers George (ww2 RCAF) and James; and by sister Agnes.
John was a Veteran War Radio Operator RCAF. He retired in 1978 as DOT Air Traffic Control Supervisor in Moncton. He was a long time Amateur Radio Operator (VE1PG), Moncton Golf Club member, Beaver Curling Club member, and was an active St. Joseph Catholic Church member. John was proud of his Irish heritage, with quick wit, whom his friends and family enjoyed. Special thanks to friends Carol and Albert Chessie, who helped tremendously during his illness.

BLAKE “Dumpy” VERNON DOHERTY of Chipman passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 1st, 2013. Born in Chipman in 1948, son of the late Purdy and Hazel (Pyne) Doherty. Blake is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Krista, their son, Christopher (Angelina) of Airdrie, AB; beloved “Dumpy”to grandchildren Ava and Gavin: brothers, Murray (Carol) of Chipman, Reid (Lauretta) of Sussex, and Dwight (Kristine) of Moncton; sisters, Rita (Scott) Robinson of Chipman and Treva (Gerald) White of Quispamsis; brother-in-law Kevin (Nettie) Shirley of Calgary; mother-in-law, Geraldine Shirley of Fredericton; nieces, nephews and his dog smoky. Predeceased by twin granddaughters Blake and Ashley; father-in-law, Alward Shirley. Also predeceased by Karen, Jeremy and Taylor.

MONA ESTELLE DOHERTY, wife of the late Walter Doherty, passed away at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 18th, 2011 at the age of 91. Mona was born in Newcastle Bridge, daughter of the late Gordon (Maude Rollins) Green. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Janet Kelly (Randy Flinn) of Fredericton and Crystal (Martin) Fraser of Chipman; grand-sons Gordon (Linda) Anderson, Bradley and Travis Kelly; great-grandsons, Jared & Kyle Anderson, Liam Kelly, son-in-law, George Anderson; nieces and nephews.

At the Mill Cove Nursing Home on January 20th, 2008 WALTER GERALD DOHERTY passed away at 91 years of age. Born in Chipman, son of the late Gerald and Rosamond (Barton) Doherty, he is survived by his wife Mona (Green) Doherty of Chipman; by daughters Janet Kelly (Randy Flynn) of Fredericton and Crystal Doherty (Martin Fraser) of Chipman; by son-in-law, George Anderson of Saint John; by grandsons, Gordon (Linda) Anderson, Bradley and Travis Kelly; by great-grandsons, Jared and Kyle Anderson and Liam Kelly. As the last surviving member of his immediate family, he was also predecaesed by daughters Valerie Doherty and Georgina Anderson, and by sisters Clara West and Gladys West.
