PEARL LILLIAN DUNHAM passed away at the Chalmers Regional Hospital, on Sunday, June 12th, 2011 at the age of 76. Pearl is survived by her loving husband Hazen, their children: Daniel (Sheila) Dunham of Penobsquis NB; Barbara (Max) Bell of Truro, NS; Grace Wallis of Regina, SK; Diana Keller of Port Coquitlam, BC; Kevin (Sheila) Dunham of Grand Prairie, AB; John (Connie) Dunham of Saint John, NB; Curtis (Krista) Dunham of Durham Bridge; NB and Raymond (Marlene) Dunham of Coles Island, NB; survived by her sister Frances Clark of Beruges, France; brothers: Raye (Joan) Clark; Sterling (Paulette) Clark, both of Chipman and Benjamin Clark; by 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents; Stepfather Charles M. Clark and Mother Lillian Mae Clark ( Estey); Father Leon Clark Sr., brothers Leon Jr. (Sonny)., Wynn and Russell Clark, Granddaughter Linda, and grandson Michael.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home until Wednesday, June 15th, 2011, when funeral service will be held at the First Grand Lake United Baptist Church, Cumberland Point at 11:00 am with Rev. Hazen Ricker officiating. Visitation for family, friends and acquaintances will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the First Grand Lake United Baptist Church. Interment is in the Cumberland Point Community Cemetery following the service.
EDMANSON, Nellie Pearl
On February 26th, 2012, NELLIE PEARL EDMANSON passed away peacefully at the Dalhousie Nursing Home, at 90 years of age. Nellie was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was born in Cumberland Bay, daughter of th late Charles (Edna Brown) Wood. Survived by her daughter Edna (Angus) Mallaley of Lorne and Janet Martin of Sussex; half-sisters, Thelma McKenelly of Newcastle Bridge and Iona Barton of Minto; grandchildren, George, Patrick (Deanne), Mellisa (Scott), Janice; 2 great grandsons, Connor and Ethan; 7 step-grandchildren; several great step- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Nellie was predeceased by her husband, William in 1988; sisters, Margurite Elliott, Ellen Hutchinson and Beatrice Wood; brothers, Irvin, Clarence and Ancil; step-sister, Della Wood; step brother, Kenneth McGaghey; step-father Eldon McGaghey.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home where family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 28th, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held from the United Pentecostal Church, Chipman, on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Ronald Cole officiating and Pastor Kevin Howe assisting. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or the Dalhousie Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family. Interment will be made in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery on Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
EGERS, Constance T.
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Connie (Constance) T. Egers at the Dr. Everett Chalmer’s Hospital on Monday, October 18th, 2010.
Born in Chipman on May 17 1932, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruby (Storey) Curley.
Connie is survived by her daughter Betty Parker of Woodstock and her son Bardy Egers of Chipman; by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; by her brother Harold Curley (Joan) of Doaktown.
Connie was predeceased by her husband Oscar Egers in 2003; son Barry Egers in 1980; daughter Heather Egers in 1972; infant daughter Mary Winnifred in 1960; sister Winnifred Day and sister Madeline Betts.
By Connie’s request there will be no visiting hours. A Memorial service celebrating Connie’s life will be held on Thursday, October 21st, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Chipman United Pentecostal Church on Main
Street, Chipman with Mary Thurrott officiating. A reception will follow after the service.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Frances Arlene Elliott at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton on September 30, 2008. Frances was the wife of the late Stewart Elliott. She was 82 years of age. Born in Kingscroft, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jarvis and Zella (McAllister) Brown. She throughly enjoyed her “girl trips” to Fredericton with her sister, Florence, and the social suppers and events she attended. Family get-to-gathers were a highlight for her. Frances was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Pauline (Don) Merrill of Boiestown and Wanda Elliott (Leo Pye) of Rothesay; by her son, Eric (Nicole) Elliott of Douglas; by five grandchildren, Donnie Merrill Jr. (Lisa Francis) of Kingston, Ontario, Jody Merrill of Boiestown, Michael and Nicholas Connolly of Rothesay and Amber Elliott of Douglas; by two great-grandchildren, Jennaya and Devin Merrill of Kingston; by three sisters Vera Kelly (Milfred) of Aroostock, Ronella Ogden of Old Town, Maine, and Florence (Rowan) McRae of Midland; two sister-in-laws, Olive Brown and Jean Brown each of Chipman. In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by brothers Abner and Beverly Brown and by sisters Della Copeland and Olive McAllister.

Dennis Sisco officiating, followed by interment at Red Bank United Cemetery. FANJOY, JOSEPH HARRY – Joseph Harry Fanjoy passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital, on Friday January 19th, 2007; Survived by his wife, Norene (Bishop) Fanjoy, of Union Settlement; by two sons, David (Mary) Fanjoy and Darren Fanjoy of Union Settlement; by daughters Mary Ann (Chris) Gahan of Bagdad and Linda (Tom) Perry of Summerside; by seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Stacey, Lindsay, Travis, Jared, Ryan and Michael; and by sister Muriel Fanjoy of Union Settlement. He was predeceased by his daughter Rose Wright in 2001. Harry was affiliated with Branch Number 60 Legion for many years and a member of the Waterborough Baptist Church.Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Sunday when funeral service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. FERRIS, KENNETH MACDONALD – Kenneth MacDonald Ferris passed away on August 19th, 2007 after a lengthy illness at the Mill Cove Nursing Home at the age of 99 years.He was born November 17, 1907 in Union Settlement, N.B., son of the late William and Adelia (Thorne) Ferris.Kenneth worked at the Irving Lumber Mill in Chipman, later self employed. A life member of the former Bethel Pentecostal Assembly, now known as the Mill Cove Church of God in Mill Cove, N.B. Kenneth enjoyed the outdoors which his interests included gardening, hunting, and nature itself.He was a devoted father to five children, Melvin (Sharon), Sterling (Gloria), Doreen (Bud) Adamson, Reginald (Shirley) all of Mill Cove, N.B., and Cheryl (Glen) McLaughlin of Grafton, N.B. Kenneth is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.Predeceased by his loving wife, Thelma (Moss) Ferris; and two infant children, Blanche and Eldon; three sisters, Ellen Barton, Cleola Ferris, and Marcia Vail; and two brothers, Henry and Clarence Ferris.Kenneth will be resting at the Mill Cove Church of God, Mill Cove, N.B. with visitation on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 7 to 9 pm, and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 2 pm with Pastor’s Phil Siggelkow and Reginald Ferris officiating.Internment will be at the Mill Cove Church of God Cemetery, in Mill Cove, N.B. following the funeral service.In lieu of flowers, it would be appreciated by the family if donations were made to the Mill Cove Church of God Cemetery Fund or the Mill Cove Nursing Home Activity Department.

FERRIS, MERLYN FREDERICK – At the Oromocto Public Hospital, Oromocto, on April 2, 2006, MERLYN FREDERICK FERRIS, 86 years of age.Survived his loving wife, Ernestine (Bonnar) Ferris, of Whites Cove, by one daughter, Gertrude (Edward) Kennedy of Hatfield Point, by three sons, Gerald (Audrey), of Whites Cove, Dwight (Margaret) of Youngs Cove and Harold (Evelyn) of Langley, B.C., by one sister, Evelyn Barton, of Oromocto, by 25 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.Predeceased by his parents, Elsie and Hattie (Reece) Ferris, by five brothers, Garnet, Vernon, Floyd, Dolphie and Earl.Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home, with no visitation and no flowers as per his request.Funeral service will be held from the Church of God, Mill Cove, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, with Rev. Frank Floyd Cole Jr.
With sadness, we announce the sudden passing of FRANK FLOYD COLE (Junior) at the Saint John Regional Hospital, CICU, on Thursday, September 15th, 2011. Junior was born April 17th, 1938. He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Welton), son Stephen (Judy), mum Lillian (Sleep), brother Dennis(Katherine), niece Sarah Doherty (James) and nephew Zackery, great-nephew Aiden Doherty and great-niece Kyra Cole, many close cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his dad, Frank Sr.
Junior was a former employee of Saint John Shipbuilding, Crane Department. He lived in Saint John for 35 years, and then happily retired and moved to a new home in Cumberland Bay in 1999, back to the country living that he and Mary both loved. One of Junior’s favorite hobbies was woodworking and carving ducks and loons, which he happily passed on to his friends andfamily. His wife Mary had to practically nail some down to keep a few at home.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of 5AN for their excellent care, to Dr. M. Bakota for many years of medical care and to Dr. R. Stephenson for heart care for the past nine months. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home and Cremation Centre until Sunday, September 18th, 2011 when funeral services from the funeral home chapel will be held at 2:00 p.m. with
Pastor Andrew Ardern officiating. Private family interment will be in the Cumberland Bay Baptist Cemetery following the service. Survived by his wife, Barbara Johnson of Gaspereau Forks; by sons Brett (Carla) Fraser of Fredericton and Jody (Lois) Fraser of Chipman; by step-sons Ian and Mark Johnson of Ottawa; by four brothers, William (Anna) Fraser of Chipman, Neil Fraser of Gaspereau Forks, Leslie (Marina) Fraser of Saint John and David (Jane) Fraser of Saint John; by three sisters, Doris Murray, Joan Chevarie and Barbara (George) Corey all of Chipman; and by four grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife, Patricia Ann Fraser, by grandson Colton and by sister Dorothy Hay.The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Chipman Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday from the Christian Life Centre at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Dennis Sisco officiating. Spring interment in the Red Bank Cemetery.
