GARVEY, Lillian Estella
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of LILLIAN ESTELLA GARVEY (nee Roberts), widow of the late John Ronald Garvey, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on August 9th, 2008. Lillian was born in Roberts’ Island, Nova Scotia in 1914 to the late Clifton Woods Roberts and Erma (Spinney) Roberts.
Lillian will be missed by her son John Richard (Delores) of Fredericton, daughters, Cheryl Davidson of Campbell River, BC and Marilyn (David) Merke of British Columbia, sisters Deborah McInnis, Phyllis (Otty) Glenn and Ruth (Floyd) Murray, nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several great-great grand children, nieces, nephews along with many friends including Gladys Tapley. Along with her parents and husband, Lillian was also predeceased by a son Clifton, a grandson Jeremy, brothers Lloyd, Wilbur (Bud) and sister Clara.

GARVEY, SARA RUTH CLARA – It is with great sadness that the family of Sara Garvey (Sally) announce her sudden passing at her home in Vancouver BC on October 29, 2011. Sara was formerly from Chipman NB, born February 21, 1961 to Christopher and Leona (Fidler) Garvey, survived by her mother Leona Garvey of Chipman NB, a son Justin Caudwell of Vancouver BC two brothers Michael and Laurie (Betty) Garvey, Suzanne (David ) Fanjoy, and Jennifer Hargrove all of chipman NB an Uncle Michael Fidler (Darlene Knox) and an Aunt Cheryl Dickinson, many cousins, neices and nephews. Sara was predeceased by her father Christopher Garvey in 2007. A celebration of Sara’s life was held at the All Saints Anglican Church in Chipman NB on Sunday November 13,2011 with Rev Payne officiating. HAMM, GEORGETTA (JEAN) LOUISE – At the Mill Cove Nursing Home, on Saturday, January 1st, 2005 GEORGETTA (JEAN) LOUISE HAMM, age 88 years; Predeceased by her husband Blake Hamm, by parents George and Margaret (Myles) Damgard; by brother Eric Damgard; by sisters Nanny Elizabeth Hargreaves and Hazel Damgard; Survived by sister Marjorie Ayles of Saint John and many nieces and nephews.Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Monday when funeral services will be held from All Saints Anglican Church, Bagdad, at 11:00 a.m with Rev. HARDING, IDA HATTIE – passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, on Tuesday September 5th, 2006; Survived by his son Bradley Harding of Toronto, sisters Jean Briggs and Deannie (Vincent) Smith each of Chipman; brothers Paul Stillwell of London, Ontario and Bryon Stilwell of Fredericton; and by two grandchildren. At the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Fredericton on Saturday, November 27th, 2010 FRANK WILLIAM HARGROVE of Red Bank passed away at the age of 77. Frank is survived by his daughter Crystal of Fredericton; his two brothers, Ronald Hargrove and Wesley (Marie) Hargrove of Red Bank; two sisters Barbara Demers and Martha Crawford both of Ontario. Also survived by many neices and nephews
Frank is predeceased by his parents Edison and Greta (MacVicar) Hargrove; brothers Chesley, Maurice, Malcolm and twins John and Edward; sisters Dorothy and Louise Hargrove

HARRISON, MICHAEL JAMES - Peacefully at the Pallative Care Unit of the Queens North Health Center on Wednesday, June 14th, 2006 MICHAEL JAMES HARRISON, of Cumberland Bay.Born in Midlands, N.B. son of the later Samuel Arthur and Julia Sophie (Powers) Harrison.Also predeceased by two brothers, Joseph (Cel) and George McNeil.Mike is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara (Miller), five children, Sam of Kitchener, Ontario, Donna (John) Black of St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia, Gary of Edmonton, Alberta, Judy (Glendon) Wilson of Fredericton and Patti of Minto; two brothers, Raymond (Roxie) of Chipman and Bernard of Hamilton, Ontario; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one niece and six nephews.Mike served overseas in World War II with the Carleton York Regiment.Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Friday when funeral Mass will be held from the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Chipman, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Peter Stephen officiating.The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. At the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home, on September 10th, 2010 RAYMOND VINCENT HARRISON passed on, at the age of 84 years. Raymond is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Roxie (Chase) Harrison and daughter Faith (Kevin) Kennedy, all of Chipman; by brother Bernard Harrison and by granddaughter Amy (Michael) Cuffaro, each of Hamilton, Ontario; by four step-grandchildren, Lori (Dave) Leaver of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Andrew and James Kennedy of Red Deer, Alberta and Bradley Kennedy of Fredericton; by three step-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by parents, Samuel and Julia (Powers) Harrison and by three brothers Michael Harrison, Joseph Harrison Sr., and George McNeil.

HASSON, Douglas Allan
DOUGLAS ALLAN HASSON, 1938-2009 – Passed away suddenly at home on Christmas Day with his family by his side. He leaves to mourn his wife, Janet Fudge-Hasson of Calgary, his step-daughter Cindy (Shawn) Mclean of Calgary as well as his pride and joy, grandson Jack McLean. He is also survived by his step-son Tom Richards and 3 granddaughters, Sarah, Gillian and Catherine. of Edmonton. Douglas will be very much missed by his two canine buddies, Carlos and Casey.
He is survived by his brothers, Allison (Marilyn) of Rothesay, Linwood (Ilene) of Quispamsis, Gordon (Ann) of Nackawic and one sister, Mary (John) Croft of Saint John. As well as sisters-in-laws Thelma Hasson of Ottawa, Tina Hasson of Salmon Creek, brother-in-law Gordon (Kathy) Fudge of Owen Sound Ont., and uncle Russell (Flora) Pollock of Chipman.
He was predeceased by his parents Ella and Walter Hasson and brothers Russell and Kenneth Hasson.
Douglas lived the majority of his life in California and enjoyed a colourful career as a international banker and as a realtor, owning his own Real Estate Company in Burbank, California. He returned home to Canada in 2004 after experiencing ill health.
