KING, Betty Anne

Betty Anne King of Chipman passed away at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Fredericton on Friday, December 30th, 2011at the age of 64. Betty was born on February 13th, 1947 daughter of the late Roy and Sarah (Bishop) McAllister.
Survived by her loving husband, Jim; twin sons, Jason (Stephanie) of Barry Ontario and Jeff (Sheila) of Chipman; sisters, Marie (Bill) Porter of Fredericton, and Shirley (Carey) Doherty of Chipman; brothers, Robert McAllister of Chipman, Reggie (Irene) of Tracy, Don of Chipman, Jack (Madeline) of Jacquet River and Russell of Chipman; grandchildren, Christie, Gina, Curtis, Madeline, Jenna and Willow; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Francis, Leona and Muriel; brother Ken.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Monday, January 2nd, 2012 when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Betty-Jean Friedman officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home, on Saturday, December 31st, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorials to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery.
Knox, Jeanne Rankine

At the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Fredericton, on Wednesday, December 21st, 2011 JEAN (Jeanne) RANKINE KNOX nee Hawkes of Hardwood Ridge passed away peacefully at the age of 66. Daughter of the late Frank and Laura (MacVicar) Hawkes. Survived by her loving sons, Frank and Owen both of Hardwood Ridge; by her sister Carole (Wendell) Lemon of Salisbury; brothers and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Harold Knox in 2010.
Jeanne was a generous and kind person who was involved with many organizations within the community, including a Member for many terms of the W.G. Bishop Nursing Board., Life Member of the Queen’s North Community Health Centre Auxiliary, Member of the Service for Seniors Board, Volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Miner Chords Barbershop Chorus, Former Leader of the Daily Vacation Bible School of Salmon Creek Baptist Church, Former Organist and Choir Director of the Salmon Creek Baptist Church, Team Nurse for Ye Olde Miners Minto/Chipman Hockey Team and the Sunday School Superintendent at the Salmon Creek Baptist Church for many years.
