At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, on Sunday, May 18th, 2008 GORDON SCOTT MURRAY, passed away, widowor of Evelyn (Briggs) Murray and son of the late Russell and Laura (Lamb) Murray. Born in Gaspereau, he died at the age of 87 years. Survived by daughters, Mildred (Manford) Bishop, Jean (Eddie) Belliveau and Marion, all of Chipman; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, his sisters, Maisie Chase of Chipman and Ida (Waldo) Fairweather of Cumberland Bay; and his financee Aldena Darrah of Chipman. Gordon was also predeceased by his brother Willard Murray, sister Muriel Sweeney and granddaughter, Paula.

Resting at Chipman Funeral Home until Wednesday when funeral service will be held from the First Chipman United Baptist Church, Gaspereau, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Reg Ward officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to First Chipman United Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
