At the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home, on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008 BENTON ARCHIBALD LAMB, of Chipman, passed away at 77 years of age. Born in Kent County, son of the late Charles and Sibbald (Darrah) Lamb, he was predeceased by his wife Eileen (Stewart) Lamb. He is survived by sons David (Sherry) Lamb of Moncton and Derrick Lamb of Fredericton; by grandchildren Kaitlyn and Brandon Lamb; brothers Goldwin (Audrey) Lamb of Saint John, Alex (Beulah) Lamb of Saint John, Joe Lamb of Chipman, Chesley (Joan) Lamb of Chipman; sisters Bernice Thompson of Chipman and Georgina (Chester) Biggs of Saint John; by sisters-in-law Betty Lamb of Saint John and Phyllis Lamb of Miramichi. He was also predeceased by infant daughter Krista Lee, by three year old son Rodney, by brothers Lauchlan Lamb and Clayton Lamb, and by brother-in-law Ernest Thompson.

Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Saturday when funeral services will be held from the Christian Life Centre, Chipman, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Sisco officiating. Interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Cancer Society or Christian Life Centre would be appreciated by the family.
