At the Queens North Pallative Care Unit, on Thursday, February 5th, 2009 HAYWARD (Bill) CLAYTON BEST passed on at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Gladys (Rogers) Best; Survived by sister, Fern Best of Briggs Corner; by brothers Floyd (Mary) Best of Chipman and Keith (Sharon) Best of Fredericton; by sister-in-law Ruth Best (Branscombe) of Sussex and by nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister Hazel (Best) Goodwin and brother Raymond Best.

Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Monday when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathi Zwicker officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home, Saturday evening from 7-9 p.m., and Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. Donations to the Chipman United Church, Canadian Cancer Society or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Spring interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery.
