Peacefully at home surrounded by those she loved, on Friday, December 4th, 2009, Myrtle Mary Kadey (nee Robinson) of Chipman aged 71 passed away after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by husband Clayton Kadey in 1987. She was the daughter of the late Cyril and Margaret (Wilson) Robinson. Beloved mother of Joyce (Anthony) Bourgeois, Chipman, Janet (Clifford) Betts, Hardwood Ridge, Darlene (Michael) Lewis, Saint John, and Darren (Lisa) Kadey of Saint John. Dear Grandmother of Patricia "Patti Jo" (Collin) Rutter, Hardwood Ridge, Ryan Bourgeois, Fredericton, Adam Bourgeois, Charlottetown, sister to Dianne (Clarence "Bucky") Arsenault, Moncton, and Scott (Rita) Robinson of Chipman; sister-in-law to Garnet (Lucille) Kadey, Clifton (Emily) Kadey, Cyril Kadey, Thelma(Robert) Dixon, Mary Palmer, Rae "Bobby" (Marie Claude) Kadey, all of Ontario, Helen (John) Gray, Alberta, and Sheryl (Ivan) Bourgeois, Chipman. She will be remembered by many special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Millidge, Ambrose, Hayward, Lester (Francis), John, and Earl (Sandra), by sisters Hazel Mullins and Daisy Murray. Resting at Chipman Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, December 7th, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The service will be held Tuesday, December 8th, at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1000 Pleasant Drive, Minto, NB with Richard Northrop officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Red Bank United Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the NB Lung Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
