DOUGLAS ALLAN HASSON, 1938-2009 - Passed away suddenly at home on Christmas Day with his family by his side. He leaves to mourn his wife, Janet Fudge-Hasson of Calgary, his step-daughter Cindy (Shawn) Mclean of Calgary as well as his pride and joy, grandson Jack McLean. He is also survived by his step-son Tom Richards and 3 granddaughters, Sarah, Gillian and Catherine. of Edmonton. Douglas will be very much missed by his two canine buddies, Carlos and Casey.
He is survived by his brothers, Allison (Marilyn) of Rothesay, Linwood (Ilene) of Quispamsis, Gordon (Ann) of Nackawic and one sister, Mary (John) Croft of Saint John. As well as sisters-in-laws Thelma Hasson of Ottawa, Tina Hasson of Salmon Creek, brother-in-law Gordon (Kathy) Fudge of Owen Sound Ont., and uncle Russell (Flora) Pollock of Chipman. 

He  was predeceased by his parents Ella and Walter Hasson and brothers Russell and Kenneth Hasson.

Douglas lived the majority of his life in California and enjoyed a colourful career as a international banker and as a realtor, owning his own Real Estate Company in Burbank, California. He returned home to Canada in 2004 after experiencing ill health.

Resting at Chipman Funeral Home on Saturday, January 2, 2010 with a Masonic Lodge Service at 1:45 pm and visitation from 2-4 pm.
