NEIL WEILLINGTON FRASER,  passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 19^th, 2012 at the age of 74. Neil was born in Coal Creek, NB son of the late Milton and Helen (Hare) Fraser. Survived by his children, Terence (Nancy) Fraser and Deborah (Bruce) Beckett both of Saint John; sister, Barbara (George) Corey of Chipman; brother David (Jane) Fraser of Saint John; sisters-in-law, Anna and Marina.; two grandchildren, Brandon and Chantelle Fraser; many nieces and nephews.

Neil was a proud member of the Boilmakers for 41 years. He loved fishing and hunting but was happiest sitting on his deck overlooking the Gaspereau River.

Neil was predeceased by his wife Mary (Fearon) in 2003; three brothers, Sam, Allison and Leslie; by three sisters, Doris Murray, Joan Chevier and Dorothy Hay.

Resting at Chipman Funeral Home where the family will receive visitors on Sunday, April 22^nd, 2012 from 3-7 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 23^rd, 2012 at 2:00 pm from St. Joseph’s Catholic, Chipman. Interment will be made at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family. 

At the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, after a period of failing health, Evelyn Berneice Northrup (Knox) passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Cathy of Niagara Falls, sons Gary of Chipman and Dwight (Wendy) of Rothesay, beloved grandchildren Kristen, Joshua and Katelyn. Evelyn is also survived by sisters Faye, Juanita, Annette, and Betty; brothers Sydney, Burns, Harold, John, Ricky, Melvin and Eddie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Hedley, parents Goldie and Margaret (Hickey) Knox, by sister Maxine and by brother Kenneth.

Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Thursday April 12^th, 2012, when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 1:00 pm. Visitation on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. for family and friends. The ladies Auxiliary will hold a service at 6:45 Wednesday evening. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chipman Outreach for Seniors or the Chipman United Church Gown Fund would be appreciated by the family. Internment will be in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery on Monday, May 21st, 2012 at 1:00 pm.

The death of DUNCAN “Jimmy” JAMES PINCOCK , husband of the late Ethel (Kennedy) Pincock occurred on March 6th, 2012 at the Mill Cove Nursing Home, Mill Cove. Born in Red Bank, Queens Co., on August 25th, 1923 son of the late Duncan (Cecelia Brown) Pincock. Jimmy is survived by his good friends, Brenda Beers of Cumberland Bay and Stephanie Beers of Moncton, also many friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his sister, Netta Barton. Resting at Chipman Funeral Home with visitation on Friday, March 9th, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9. On February 26th, 2012, NELLIE PEARL EDMANSON passed away peacefully at the Dalhousie Nursing Home, at 90 years of age. Nellie was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was born in Cumberland Bay, daughter of th late Charles (Edna Brown) Wood. Survived by her daughter Edna (Angus) Mallaley of Lorne and Janet Martin of Sussex; half-sisters, Thelma McKenelly of Newcastle Bridge and Iona Barton of Minto; grandchildren, George, Patrick (Deanne), Mellisa (Scott), Janice; 2 great grandsons, Connor and Ethan; 7 step-grandchildren; several great step- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  Nellie was predeceased by her husband, William in 1988; sisters, Margurite Elliott, Ellen Hutchinson and Beatrice Wood; brothers, Irvin, Clarence and Ancil; step-sister, Della Wood; step brother, Kenneth McGaghey; step-father Eldon McGaghey.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of LINDA MARGARET LEBLANC of Chipman. Linda passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital on February 20th, 2012. She was born on August 18th, 1950, daughter of the late Walter (Evelyn Clark) Targett. Linda will be sadly missed by her son, Troy; sisters, Myrna (Arthur) Leger of Minto, Sharon (Carl) Sears of Coal Creek, Irene (Bill) Morrison of Rothesay and Shelley (Steven) LeBlanc of Sparwood, BC; Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her sister Diane Mowatt.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of EMSLEY SPURGEON JARDINE  of Chipman.  Emsley was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  He passed away peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on February 13^th, 2012 at the age of 80.  He was born on August 8^th, 1931, son of the late Spurgeon and Violet (Corey).  Emsley will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Muriel (Briggs), their children, Mark (Beth Corey) of Upper Kingsclear, Janet (Randy) Roberts of Chipman, Darren (Katrina) of Gaspereau Forks and Paul (Tracy) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Alexander, Jillian, Amanda, Corey, Tyler and Tyson; great-grandson, Dawson Emsley; nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his brothers Lowell and Donnie; sister Lorraine.

GEORGE WALTER CHASE of Chipman passed away at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Fredericton on Thursday, February 2^nd, 2012 at the age of 82. Walter was born in Brigg’s Corner on September 10^th, 1929 son of the late Cecil and Verna (Murray) Chase.
Survived by his loving wife, Joyce; three daughters, Tamara (David) Duke of Lorneville, NB; Karen (Scott) McCoy of Lincoln and Kathy Chase of Kingston, Ontario; two sons, Nicholas (Jo-Ann) Chase and Dale (Dyann) Chase, both of Chipman; four step-daughters, Carla Briggs (Kevin Fairweather) of Chipman, Jill (Tony) Branscombe of Chipman, Valerie (Lowell) Blyth of Chipman and Nancy Briggs of Fredericton; two brothers, Wendell (Joanne) Chase and Allison (Rowena) Chase both of Chipman,  also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Willard and Burns.

Walter loved bowling, curling and his church, where he would ring the bell for the Sunday morning service. Walter was first employed as a logger, then worked for DOT. In 1959 he joined the military where he served in the Canadian Military as MCpl CHASE, G.W. CD RCCS from October 1959 to February 1985. Walter had a large and extended family that he loved dearly.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home, on Monday, February 6^th, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Legion service will be held on Monday evening at 6:45. Memorials to the Chipman Bowlarama, Chipman United Church or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment will be in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at 1:00 pm.

At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton on Thursday February 2, 2012 LOWELL B. JARDINE passed away peacefully with family at his side at the age of 76.  He is survived by his wife Rosebud (Davidson) Jardine, one son Tyronne (Janet) Jardine of Gaspereau Forks, NB; by two daughters, Stephanie (Rick) Richardson of Gaspereau Forks,  Colleen Brown  (Wade Hargreaves) of Fredericton, NB;  4 grandchildren; Travis, Morgan, Kristi & Mason; one great grandchild, Liam and one brother Emsley (Muriel) Jardine of Chipman, NB and several nieces and nephews.    Predeceased by his parents Spurgeon & Violet Jardine; one sister Lorraine Brown and brother Donnie. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home.  Visitation will be received by the family on Saturday February 4^th from 2-4 and 7-9 followed by a funeral service at the Chapel at Chipman Funeral Home on Sunday February 5^th at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Egers officiating.  Interment will be held immediately following the ceremony at the First Chipman United Baptist cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of their choice.
