			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness we announce the passing of <strong>LINDA MARGARET LEBLANC</strong> of Chipman. Linda passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital on February 20th, 2012. She was born on August 18th, 1950, daughter of the late Walter (Evelyn Clark) Targett. Linda will be sadly missed by her son, Troy; sisters, Myrna (Arthur) Leger of Minto, Sharon (Carl) Sears of Coal Creek, Irene (Bill) Morrison of Rothesay and Shelley (Steven) LeBlanc of Sparwood, BC; Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her sister Diane Mowatt.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Resting at Chipman Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the St. Augustine’s Anglican Church on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Phillip Pain officiating. Interment will be made in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church or the Chipman Poohs, ” Relay For Life” Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #444444; font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #444444; font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness we announce the passing of <strong> EMSLEY SPURGEON JARDINE</strong>  of Chipman.  Emsley was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  He passed away peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on February 13<sup>th</sup>, 2012 at the age of 80.  He was born on August 8<sup>th</sup>, 1931, son of the late Spurgeon and Violet (Corey).  Emsley will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Muriel (Briggs), their children, Mark (Beth Corey) of Upper Kingsclear, Janet (Randy) Roberts of Chipman, Darren (Katrina) of Gaspereau Forks and Paul (Tracy) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Alexander, Jillian, Amanda, Corey, Tyler and Tyson; great-grandson, Dawson Emsley; nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his brothers Lowell and Donnie; sister Lorraine.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Resting at Chipman Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, February 15<sup>th</sup>, 2012 from  2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Second Chipman United Baptist Church on Thursday, February 16<sup>th</sup>, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Egers officiating.  Interment will be made in the First Chipman United Baptist Cemetery, Gaspereau Forks  following the reception.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the First Chipman United Baptist Church or the Second Chipman United Baptist Church  would be appreciated   by the family.  </span></p>

Walter was born in Brigg’s Corner on September 10<sup>th</sup>, 1929 son of the late Cecil and Verna (Murray) Chase. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"> Survived by his loving wife, Joyce; three daughters, Tamara (David) Duke of Lorneville, NB; Karen (Scott) McCoy of Lincoln and Kathy Chase of Kingston, Ontario; two sons, Nicholas (Jo-Ann) Chase and Dale (Dyann) Chase, both of Chipman; four step-daughters, Carla Briggs (Kevin Fairweather) of Chipman, Jill (Tony) Branscombe of Chipman, Valerie (Lowell) Blyth of Chipman and Nancy Briggs of Fredericton; two brothers, Wendell (Joanne) Chase and Allison (Rowena) Chase both of Chipman,  also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Willard and Burns.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Walter loved bowling, curling and his church, where he would ring the bell for the Sunday morning service. Walter was first employed as a logger, then worked for DOT. In 1959 he joined the military where he served in the Canadian Military as MCpl CHASE, G.W. CD RCCS from October 1959 to February 1985. Walter had a large and extended family that he loved dearly.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Tuesday, February 7<sup>th</sup>, 2012 when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Yvette Swan officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home, on Monday, February 6<sup>th</sup>, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Legion service will be held on Monday evening at 6:45. Memorials to the Chipman Bowlarama, Chipman United Church or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.<strong> </strong>Spring interment will be in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery.</span></p>

JARDINE</strong> passed away peacefully with family at his side at the age of 76.  He is survived by his wife Rosebud (Davidson) Jardine, one son Tyronne (Janet) Jardine of Gaspereau Forks, NB; by two daughters, Stephanie (Rick) Richardson of Gaspereau Forks,  Colleen Brown  (Wade Hargreaves) of Fredericton, NB;  4 grandchildren; Travis, Morgan, Kristi &amp; Mason; one great grandchild, Liam and one brother Emsley (Muriel) Jardine of Chipman, NB and several nieces and nephews.    Predeceased by his parents Spurgeon &amp; Violet Jardine; one sister Lorraine Brown and brother Donnie.</span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"> </span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home.  Visitation will be received by the family on Saturday February 4<sup>th</sup> from 2-4 and 7-9 followed by a funeral service at the Chapel at Chipman Funeral Home on Sunday February 5<sup>th</sup> at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Egers officiating.  Interment will be held immediately following the ceremony at the First Chipman United Baptist cemetery. </span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation to the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation or a charity of their choice.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Tuesday, January 17<sup>th</sup>, 2012 when funeral services will be held from the First Chipman United Baptist Church, Gaspereau Forks at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Bannister officiating and Rev. Reg Ward assisting. Family will receive friends and family on Monday, January 16<sup>th</sup>, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9. Interment in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery at a later date. <p><span style="font-size: medium;">Anna is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd, daughter, Judy Robichaud of Saint John; son Bruce Murphy of Fredericton; step-daughters, Debbie May of Chipman and Daphine Smith of Melbourne Australia; sister Mary (Harim) Smith of Florida; brother Michael (Dianne) Blacquier of Oromocto; step-grandchildren; Hannah, Sam, Zac and Chloe; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers, George and Ray Blacquier.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Anna grew up and graduated in Chipman then furthered her education at the Saint John Nursing School. After graduation she moved to Fredericton where she worked as a nurse for 29 years at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Funeral service will be held from the Chipman Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14<sup>th</sup>, 2012. No Visitation by request of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Canadian Diabetes Association or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. </span></p>

<p>At the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Fredericton, on Wednesday, December 21<sup><span style="font-size: x-small;">st</span></sup>, 2011<strong> JEAN (Jeanne) RANKINE KNOX nee Hawkes </strong>of Hardwood Ridge passed away peacefully at the age of 66. Daughter of the late Frank and Laura (MacVicar) Hawkes. Survived by her loving sons, Frank and Owen both of Hardwood Ridge; by her sister Carole (Wendell) Lemon of Salisbury; brothers and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Harold Knox in 2010.</p>
<p>Jeanne was a generous and kind person who was involved with many organizations within the community, including a Member for many terms of the W.G. Bishop Nursing Board<span style="font-size: x-small;">., </span>Life Member of the Queen’s North Community Health Centre Auxiliary, Member of the Service for Seniors Board<span style="font-size: x-small;">, </span>Volunteer for Meals on Wheels<span style="font-size: x-small;">, </span>Miner Chords Barbershop Chorus, Former Leader of the Daily Vacation Bible School of Salmon Creek Baptist Church<span style="font-size: x-small;">,</span> Former Organist and Choir Director of the Salmon Creek Baptist Church<span style="font-size: x-small;">, </span>Team Nurse for Ye Olde Miners Minto/Chipman Hockey Team and the Sunday School Superintendent at the Salmon Creek Baptist Church for many years.</p>
<div>Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home where the family will receive visitors on Thursday December 22<sup><span style="font-size: x-small;">nd</span></sup>, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held from the United Baptist Church of Minto, on Friday, December 23<sup><span style="font-size: x-small;">rd</span></sup>, 2011 at 2:00 pm. with Pastor Phil Styles officiating. Interment will be at the Second Chipman United Baptist Cemetery, Chipman. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetic Association would be appreciated by the family.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Dykeman, Richard (Dick) of Jemseg, beloved husband of Jean (Mitchell) Dykeman passed away on October 12th, 2011 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born at Alert Bay, B.C in 1930 to parents Gladys (Wilson) and J. Gordon Dykeman who predeceased him. The family returned to Fredericton in 1938 where he received his early schooling. He also attended Rothesay Collegiate School and U.N.B. For many years he worked in sales in New Brunswick, Maine, Massachusetts, and Quebec, returning to Jemseg at the time of his Mother’s death. He retired from the N.B. Department of Transportation in 2000.</div>
<div>Survived by his wife Jean of 57 years, brother-in-law, Allen (Marion) Mitchell, nephew Duff (Heather) Mitchell, Nieces Barbara (Graham) Glenn, Margaret Mitchell and their families of Ottawa, Nephew Tony (Rachel) Mitchell and family of Montreal, foster sisters, Wonita (Richard) McPhee of Quispamsis, June (Craig) Burrows of Brantford, On and their families and Evelyn Smith of Fredericton. Also survived by his first cousins in New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Washington state and Pennsylvania U.S.A.</div>
<div>Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28th, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Saint James Anglican Church in Jemseg, NB. Rev. Lisa Pacarynuk officiating. <strong>Cremation Services of New Brunswick</strong> in care of arrangements. Condolences may be offered at www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca.</div>
