Welcome to Chipman Funeral Home. A part of the village of Chipman since 1952. Marathon Leck established the funeral home in the peaceful rural area of Chipman, New Brunswick. 

Marathon operated Leck’s Funeral Home until 1982 when Robert and Sharon Lockwood purchased it.  The name of the establishment was changed to Chipman Funeral Home Ltd.  The Funeral Home is now owned and operated by Susan Welton and husband Shawn. 

 

The funeral directors, Susan C. Welton, Robert Lockwood, Sharon Lockwood are dedicated in providing compassionate service to the residents of the Chipman, Minto and surrounding areas. Proud to be a members of the New Brunswick Funeral Directors Association.


The Chipman Funeral Home houses the residence of Shawn and Susan Welton and their son Blair. Its charm and character provides a relaxing, serene atmosphere.  An outside deck with seating area allows the patrons of Chipman Funeral Home the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque grounds.




The tranquil setting of Chipman Funeral Home provides the much needed comfort to those mourning the loss of their loved one.  We provide all the tribute options available, for honouring and celebrating life within the means of all.

Future plans are to provide a serenity garden for the people of Chipman in the back area of the Funeral Home overlooking the beautiful Salmon River.
