It is with great sadness that the family of Jon Matthew Duffy announce his passing at Hospice House Fredericton on April 17, 2019 at the age of 81. Jon was born in Chipman, NB on November 8, 1937 son of the late Frank and Geraldine (Schofield) Duffy.
Jon was known for his kindness and he put everyone’s needs ahead of his own right to the end. He loved the woods and spent much of his life in nature – working, fishing and hunting. He was happiest spending time with his family and friends, especially at the camp at Big Forks. God has gathered another angel.

Predeceased by his first wife, Judy; his parents and brother George.
Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home on Sunday, April 21, 2019 from 3 – 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
