LAUDER, SCOTT JOUDRY age 73, of Chipman, passed away suddenly at his home on July 18th, 2011. Lauder was born in Chatham, NB the son of the late Ida (Martin) and James Joudry. Lauder worked for several years at Irving Pulp and Paper before joining Baxter Dairy as a truck driver. He later became manager of the Fredericton and Bathurst divisions of the company and finished his 32 year career with Baxter’s back in Saint John as a manager of BMC. He had a genuine passion for working on old cars and spent many hours tinkering in his garage restoring old vehicles or anything else on wheels. He also loved hunting, fishing and camping. Lauder enjoyed hanging out at Zane’s Garage, where he would serve coffee to “The Boys”. He was also a very capable handyman and carpenter – a true “jack of all trades”. Lauder was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Lauder is survived by his loving partner, Joanne, brother Leonard (Willa) Joudry, daughters, Rose (Dan) Murphy, Patty Stephen, son Larry, grandchildren, Sean, Caitlin, Jessica (Angel), Carolyn, Emily, Scott, and stepchildren, Tracy and Jayne, grandchildren, Alissa, Darienne and Kearen, nieces and nephews.
