With saddened hearts we announce that Rheo Keith Le Blanc of Fredericton passed away after a lengthy illness on April 9, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton NB. Born on December 6, 1948 in Doaktown, he was the son late Edward “Ned” and Mae (Storey) Le Blanc. Prior to Rheo’s retirement he worked for Eazy Express delivering parcels and mail for Canada Post. He was a member of the Fredericton Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 04 where he loved playing crib. He enjoyed his TV, especially game shows and loved his meal times.
Rheo is survived by his loving wife Annette Astle, daughters; Kayla Rhynard of Doaktown, Amanda Rhynard (Barrett Price) and grandchildren Sydney and Ryker Price of Bettsburg. Annette’s Children; Sonia (Kevin) Barrett of Fredericton, Angel MacKay of Nashwaak Bridge, Michele (Donnie) Munn of Grande Prairie AB, Tracey (Alden) Crain of Kiersteadville, Arlene (Edward) Parker of Nashwaak Bridge, Terrence (Heather) Astle of Grande Prairie AB; and Annette’s 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Brothers; Wayne (Bettylou) of Doaktown, Eddie (Amanda) of St John, Jerry (Geraldine) of Boiestown, Ronnie (Linda) of Saint John, Tony of Fort McMurray AB. Sisters; Rita (Larry) Swinimer of Bettsburg, Kathy (Robert) Rushton of Rogersville, Cindy Le Blanc (Murray) of Fredericton, Julia (Johnny) Ballard of Medicine Hat AB; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by infant twin sisters, Margaret and Mary; nephew, Sherman Le Blanc; and niece, Margaret Swinimer.
At the request of Rheo there will be no visitation. There will be a Celebration of his Life on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 80, Nashwaak Bridge.
In Lieu of flowers, remembrance may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 04, Fredericton or the charity of donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca
