MURRAY, Phyllis C. – Chipman, NB

Peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, Phyllis Christine Murray passed away at the age of 88. Phyllis was born in Moncton, NB on August 4th, 1931 daughter of the late Folley and Durrill (Higgs) Goodheart. Phyllis is survived by her sons, Charles (Stephanie) “Chuck” of Chipman and Darren of Calgary; brother, Christopher (Sylvia) of Thunder Bay, ON; several sisters-in-Law; grandchildren, Faith Anne (Rob) and Matthew (Melanie); great-grandchildren, Carter, Evangeline, Maddie and Keiran; many neices and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Murray in 1998; sister, Geraldine Perry; brothers, Edward, Douglas and Brian.

A private family service will take place at a later date. Donations to the Second Chipman United Baptist Church, Chipman or the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

I am so sorry to read this. My mother planted trees with Phyllis, so I heard many stories over the years. I imagine they will have quite a chat in Heaven!!

Phyllis was a great friend to my mother, Lorraine Barton, and we all loved Phyllis too. When family gatherings were held, Phyllis was included. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. .
