It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Edna Pearl Pollock on May 14, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Edna was born in Chipman on July 7, 1929, daughter of the late Edward and Pearl (Bishop) Murray.
Edna was an incredible and loving person, her heart was bigger than big. She was always there and never had an unkind word to say of anyone. Mum was very devoted to her family, she always wanted everyone, especially her family to get along. She always said “If you don’t have your family, you don’t have anything”. Mum was the heart and soul of our family that bound us all together. Mum cherished the Sunday gatherings of her family and she was always prepared with a lovely meal, Mum loved to cook.
Edna is survived by her loving husband, Clifford and their children, Stephen, Beth (Ellis), Michael (Rhonda), Garnett (Joanne), Paul (Vicki) and Jennifer (Kevin); grandchildren, Sarah (Donnie), Courtney, Ryan (Chelsea), Andrew, Katie (Luke), Brittney (Joey), Chad (Holly) and Mandi (Zackary); great-grandchildren, Kain, Charlie, Leah, Elijah, Ella, Finnleigh, Edina, Ellie and Wesley; sisters, Connie Webber, Doreen Haddon and Anna Clarke.
Predeceased by her parents; an infant son, Clifton James and grandson, Jamie; brothers, Lloyd, Ray and Daryl; sisters, Grace Cassidy, Blanche Dickinson, Joan Johnson and Elsie Wilson.
A private family service will be held at the Red Bank United Church Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Edna made to the Chipman Forest Avenue School Breakfast Program, Chipman Youth Center or the Chipman Community Care would be greatly appreciated by the family.
