The passing of Alfreda L Storey (McAleer) occurred on May 15th, 2020 at the Nashwaak Villa Nursing Home in Stanley New Brunswick at 81 years. Alfreda was born on December 29, 1938 daughter of the late Vincent and Laura (Muck) McAleer.
She is survived by her husband Arvel Storey (Arvel and Alfreda resided at Grand Lake Road, Doaktown New Brunswick for most of their lives) Arvel and Alfreda would have been celebrating 65 years of marriage in this coming June. Survived by two sons, Dean (Marlene) of Fredericton NB and Jeff of Doaktown, NB; six daughters, Brenda Hovey (Melvin) of Holtville, NB, Ollie Storey, of Grand Lake Road, NB, Tina Lomas (Mark) of Keswick, ON, Carol Penny of Dartmouth, NS, Cindy Reid (John) of Boiestown, NB and Cheryl Polmateer of Fredericton, NB; Grandchildren-
Andy, Sheldon, Tyler, Ryan, Taylor, Tristan, Lucas, Nick, Justin, Rachel and Cadence; Great Grandchildren, Keenan, Brody, Braxten, Bentley, Kayden, Kallie and Rylynn; Sisters, Merva O’Donnell (Dick), Marlene Borden, Grace Beek (Wayne) and Carol Clowater (Sterling); brothers, Johnny McAleer of Ohio, US, Perney McAleer (Brenda) of Oak Point, Miramichi.
Predeceased by her Son Derek Storey in 2008, Grandson Shaun Hovey in 2013, Granddaughter Aurora Storey in 2019 and Brother Jim McAleer in 2014.
Due to the Covid- 19 and along with Alfreda’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside burial will take place at South Road Cemetery in Doaktown, NB.

Alfreda went to live at the Nashwaak Villa in November of 2017, we are very grateful for all the care you provided for our mother, grandmother/wife during her stay at Nashwaak Villa. You all treated her like family of your own. A special thank you to ” Myra, Dana, Dawn, Rose, Jennifer and Elaine”. From the bottoms of our hearts we thank you “The Nashwaak Villa Team”.
